From bath houses to hot tubs, people understand the benefits of a hot soak.

From hotels to rehab facilities, health clubs to professional sports organizations. Hot tubs offer many benefits for the body, the mind and the sole. After a tough workout a hot tub can help relieve muscle pain and soothe aching joints. It may also lower blood pressure and support heart health. We all know that hot water helps melt away stress and anxiety as it helps to hydrate the skin. And once we hop out and crawl into bed it helps us fall asleep faster and enjoyed a higher-quality sleep. Dino Sarancic and his family are well aware of the heath benefits of bathing and that those are increased with the addition of beer.

When you finally meet Dino, you will find that it is hard to get him to talk about himself, but he will talk about the Beer Spa and the experience it delivers all day long.

Dino has lived in Chicago for the past 25 years and is a graduate of DePaul University.

He loves beer and wants to bring the unique form of relation the Piva Beer Spa offers to everyone in Chicago.

Beer is good medicine!

Beer as many of you know has some unique health qualities as it is made of 4 basic ingrediants. Hops, Grain, Water and Yeast.  During covid many breweries took advantage of the alchol in their ber to produce hand sanitizers. The other qualities include anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative, anti-angiogenic, anti-melanogenic, anti-osteo porotic and anti-carcinogenic.

The next time someone says “just rub some dirt in it and get back to work”, tell them you are going to pour some beer on it…and in you instead.

Soaking in Beer?

Before the invention of the shower everyone bathed. The old saying “don’t toss the baby with the bath water” is derived from family bathing. Poeple have been soaking in all sorts of suds for centuries. So, why not beer?

With all of the medicinal qualities of beer, being an all natural product, and combining that with the stress releif of soaking in a tub of hot water it only seems like a great partnership. Now add in that you can do it with friends and you have the makings of a healthy social interation that leaves you better off than when you alked through the spa doors.

Notable Quote from the Interview

“Hops have a ton of antioxidants…and the smell of hops is actually a natural relaxant. The vitamins and antioxidants in beer help to bring shine to the hair without weighing it down.
